Hey guys! Welcome back to The Body Shop month! I have been really lazy lately (more than usual) and extremeelyyy sleepy! Who doesn't get sleepy at the thought of opening books and studying? Ugh!

Also, I didn't post a review last week as I was out LOL and I also was kinda sad as I lost my colourpop eyeshadow palette which I didn't even get to use!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway guys, this isn't Snapchat that I will rant over here. Today I am reviewing another product from the Vitamin C range by The Body Shop which is Vitamin C Skin Boost Instant Smoother.

Here's the product description from their website:

Infused with Amazonian Camu Camu berries help to invigorate the skin and protect against damaging environmental elements.

• Best for dull skin and those who want a smooth and radiant complexion

• Contains natural camu camu berry with 20x more Vitamin C than an orange

• Enriched with Community Trade Brazil Nut from Peru

This is a product that my mother fell in love with when she got it back in 2010 and she has loved it ever since. It smells like oranges! I love the citrusy smell of oranges so I love how it smells! To be honest, I never knew what Camu Camu is and how it smells and how it looks, so when you read that I am mentioning Oranges, I am indirectly associating it with Camu Camu. I can't say directly as I have never seen it in real, so I wouldn't want my blogs to be misleading. ❤

Anyway, the normal price of this product is 29$ which I know is too damn high as The Body Shop isn't a high end brand, it's a drugstore one. I got it on a sale at 30% off so I paid only 25.3$ for it (which is still a high amount for a broke person like me!)

I like their recent packaging as compared to the 10 year old ones. The new one is simple and follows the trend of the packaging of other products as well. I loveee simple things! Each bottle has 30 ml product.

Major Ingredients:

Camu Camu: It's their main ingredient and forms the heart of the vitamin C range. It's the main source of Vitamin C and has a citrus like smell, almost resembling to an orange. It is however, more powerful as compared to one orange. It is also a source of a number of other vitamins!

Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil : It helps in skin conditioning.

Ascorbic Acid : It meets up with our Vitamin C requirement. Boosts synthesis of collagen.

How To Use

Apply in an upward, circular motion after moisturizing for a smooth base and a healthy-looking glow.

This thing is MAGIC! Have you guys ever noticed that whenever I like something I call it magical?! It's one of those products that when I see their results I go like, "I must be dreaming!"

I have a thing for the whole Vitamin C range because of this specific product. When my mom used this back in 2010 (I was ten) I ALWAYS LOVED HOW IT SMELLED AND I'D TAKE SOME FOR MY FACE TOO ONCE A WEEK!

Of course, when you're a child, you don't need to focus on skincare products a lot, but I loved this thing a lot!

TOP SECRET: I have also used this as a primer when I wasn't blessed with one and I found it helpful to smooth down my skin for flawless application! You guys gotta try this hack!

It's formula is thick. It is a gel like formula, targetting dull skin and boosts radiance.

The bottle is travel friendly and comes with a pump. MY ONLY ISSUE IS WITH THE PUMP!

I don't know what's the proper way of saying this, I wanna say a bad word for it, but I am not allowed. 😛 It's been over 10 years since this product has been launched, YET THE PUMP DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY!

You push the pump, the product should come out. It doesn't. You push again. It doesn't come out. You push it again, frustrated. SO MUCH COMES OUT!

All I am asking for is a proper amount that comes out in just one go! I am already getting late, don't make me more late!

Vitamin C range products by the Body Shop are known that they give healthy glow, and so does this product! I will say this again, IT IS MAGICAL!

• 9.9/10!!!!!!

(I only have issue with the pump, nothing else!)
